Life is a tad busy these days so finding time to work has been hard! Thankfully, I have awesome friends who are patient with me and understand the balance between work and family life! I’ve known Sarah and her family for 4 years now, but this is the first time I’ve photographed them. We met back in prenatal yoga when we were both pregnant with our first babies. She’s now added a second to her little clan and I had the pleasure of hanging out with them for a couple hours one afternoon to document their new life with 2! I must say, it’s pretty great to be able to document my friends lives for them and to know that I’ve been able to give them memories that will hopefully be on their walls and in their hearts for a long time. Thanks for letting me come hang for a while guys and extra big thanks to their big little man for being my assistant! You all have created the most wonderful little family of 4 in your lovely, warm and inviting home that just feels so full of love.

Stephanie & Rob – Envoy Hotel, Boston MA – Wedding Photography

Stephanie and Rob are married! These two lovely people got hitched about a month ago at the beautiful Envoy Hotel in downtown Boston, MA. It was actually the very first time a wedding had been held at the hotel. Big kudos to the Envoy for pulling off a stunning event! Stephanie and Rob got married on a beautiful (and very hot!) summer day on the rooftop deck with views of Boston that didn’t disappoint! The reception was held downstairs in the hotel bar which had the doors thrown open to enjoy the atmosphere of the bustling surrounding area. Stephanie and Rob were surrounded by family, friends, wonderful speeches and a whole lot of incredible dancing! Seriously, the bride has moves! Congratulations Steph and Rob! Best wishes for a lifetime of happiness and adventures ahead. Thank you both for letting me tag along on your special day.

Family Photography – Nahant, Massachusetts

The M Family is back on the blog today! Last year I did a few quick photos for their little girl’s first birthday. This year, my friend Angie’s husband, got her a mini family session for her birthday! We had a great time wandering and adventuring through a beautiful wooded path and playing on their favorite little beach in this gorgeous little town we call home. We even snuck in a quick 2 minute headshot session at the very end for Angie to use for business purposes. She looks beautiful! This mama is one of the most beautiful, supportive and encouraging women I know and I am lucky to have her as a friend. I was so happy to be able to capture some fleeting moments for her little family and hopefully bring her a little bit of joy (which she brings to a wide community of women every day!) Thank you to Christian for organizing this fun birthday gift and allowing me to be a part of it. And thank you both for your patience with my extremely limited editing time! I appreciate it more than you know!!!

Mark & Gemma – Engagement Photography, Concord, Massachusetts

This session is from last October and I’m so thrilled to be able to share these images now! Mark and Gemma invited me to come out to Walden Pond for our engagement photo session. I had never been before and it was just beautiful. Quiet and picturesque and I couldn’t stop admiring and talking about the light all night long. It was soft and beautiful and simply stunning for our time walking around. It was snowing when I got there so you can see what troopers Mark and Gemma were hiking about with me while I was bundled in a warm coat! We had a really nice time together in a really beautiful spot and I was so happy to be able to capture some photos for them to celebrate their engagement. You can see there wedding photos here.

Mark & Gemma, Marblehead Massachusetts Wedding Photography

Mark (my 2nd cousin!) and Gemma’s wedding photos are finally finished! I’ve been working away on this one slowly for a little while, but I’ve been so excited to finish it up and be able to share the beautiful images from their wedding day last month. I had a great time with these guys last year photographing their (newly posted) engagement session and looked forward to being able to follow it up by photographing their wedding a year later. It was worth the wait!!! Mark and Gemma got married on a lovely and cool overcast day. Doesn’t Gemma just look stunning in her gorgeous gown? The light was beautiful and soft and Mark and Gemma and their entire bridal party wandered around Marblehead with me to get photos all done before the ceremony. After doing some quick getting ready photos in downtown Marblehead and on Marblehead Neck, we ventured back over to Crocker Park for a first look and bridal party photos. We had a lovely water escort across the Harbor to the Corinthian Yacht Club where we got off the launch and headed down to Chandler Hovey Park for the ceremony. We got hit with some rain right before the ceremony, but thankfully it didn’t last long! After these two got hitched I was able to steal them for a couple of minutes to take a few photos overlooking Marblehead Harbor before everyone was escorted to the Yacht Club by beautiful bagpipes. This crew danced the night away (the dance floor was packed!) and had a wonderful evening together celebrating the start of their married life surrounded by so many friends and loved ones. Thank you Mark and Gemma for letting me tag along to document the day for you. I had a great time and it was so nice to see so many friends and family!

The O Family – Massachusetts Family Photography

One of my absolute favorite families to photograph is back! I believe this might be my 4th time photographing them and I always have such a blast hanging out with these guys. It doesn’t hurt that I went to college with both Shanny and Jared and was roommates for 2 years with Shanny… and how lucky are we that we live close enough now that we get to hang out and raise our kiddos together. This was a quick session that we snuck in post nap one afternoon at a little park not far from their house but we had a ball playing in the leaves and soaking up some beautiful late afternoon sunshine. This family holds such a special piece of my heart and I feel so lucky to have been able to capture a fleeting afternoon for them as we all know how fast these days pass. I honestly can’t get over the cuteness. So much love for you O family!

Kmac & Charly – Gloucester, MA Wedding Photography

How cool is this? Kmac (Mr. McLaughlin, Macky-G, Kevin) used to be my old high school teacher and varsity and AAU basketball coach! We go all the way back to 2000 (I think) and I can’t say enough wonderful things about him as a teacher and more importantly for me, a coach. (Cough cough… science definitely was not my forte… hence my profession now as a photographer!) I had a blast playing for Kmac back in the day and learned so much about hard work and the game from him! We’ve kept in touch here and there over the years but hadn’t caught up since we moved back home from Australia a few years ago. I was thrilled to hear from him earlier this year that he was engaged and getting married. I was incredibly honored when I got to meet his beautiful finance, Charly and they asked me to photograph their wedding. Last month Kmac and Charly got married up in Gloucester on a lovely early fall day surrounded by their closest family and friends. Charly wore a beautiful light blue dress as they exchanged their vows overlooking Gloucester Harbor. After the ceremony we met up with more family and friends who joined us on the Beauport Princess Harbor Cruise for dinner and lots of fun and dancing. Oh the dancing! Their crew of family and friends was there all night with endless love and support and some sweet sweet dance moves! I had such a fantastic time being able to document such a special day for you Kmac and Charly. You both looked so happy together and I am so pleased to be able to give you these memories to help remember it by. Congratulations a million times over to you both!

Julia and Alex – Marblehead, MA Wedding Photography

Julia and Alex got married back in July on a very hot summer day. I met these guys through Alex’s sister Sam, who I went to high school with back in the day. I was so excited photographing this wedding because these guys were just so happy to be getting married and their love for each other showed in every. single. photo. My photographer brain was literally jumping for joy as I was documenting the day because I couldn’t wait to see the photos as I was capturing them. Julia and Alex’s wedding was held in their backyard in old town Marblehead with their sisters officiating the ceremony. The guests then saw them off at the dock behind their house as they made their way by sea to Marblehead Trading Company boat sheds on Cradle Skid Row where they had their reception overlooking the water. The party was catered by the Stoked Pizza Truck as well as a surprise visit from Terry’s Ice Cream Truck which was a big hit on such a warm summer night. There were some incredibly funny and heartfelt speeches by family and friends to start off the night before dancing through decades of a musical playlist created by Julia and Alex themselves. This night was just so much fun and I had such a blast being able to document the day for these guys. Julia and Alex, you were a dream to photograph and work with. Thank you for trusting me to be with you on the day and letting me capture a small part of this new life you are starting together.

Katie & Adam – Wedding Photography, Lynn MA

Katie and Adam are married! They’ve actually been married for just over a month now and have been amazingly patient as I’ve worked to get their images all done. Thanks guys! I met Katie and Adam almost a year ago when I photographed her sister Vita’s wedding. My dad volunteered with their dad a few years ago so now this is my 4th gig with this crew and I’m basically just counting myself as one of the family now. I couldn’t ask for a nicer group to work with! Katie and Adam had a beautiful ceremony at the always gorgeous St. Pius in Lynn. Afterwards, we went to Spinelli’s for the reception which was filled with friends and family, some amazing dancing and lots of love and laughter. This pair of high school sweethearts have been together for a long time and I was so happy to be able to document the official joining of their families. Congratulations Katie and Adam!
